 Welcome!

Former Assemblyman Tony Strickland speaks during the club's May Social at the Repertory East Theatre in Newhall on May 1. Please join us for our June Social with guest speaker Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley. See below for details.

Are you a registered Republican? If so, we invite you to make a difference by joining our grassroots community organization. We meet once a month and conduct a variety of events throughout the year. Membership details can be found on the left side of this page.

Search On for New Headquarters
As you may know, we shut down SCV Republican Headquarters on San Fernando Road last year. The headquarters helped give us a strong physical presence in the community, especially downtown Newhall, for several years. Rest assured, we certainly have not abandoned the idea of operating such a facility, and the search for a new headquarters is under way now. We'll keep you posted!

History of the 'Grand Old Party'
The Republican Party was born in the early 1850s by anti-slavery activists and individuals who believed that government should grant western lands to settlers free of charge. More
